Meet John Leslie, a snowboarder from British Columbia who competed in the Paralympics in 2014 and 2018. Since then, John has continued to pursue his passion in the mountains, splitboarding, lapping, and inspiring others through his passion and drive. After losing his leg below the knee to osteogenic sarcoma at the age of 10, John Leslie went on to join Team Canada as a Paralympic snowboarder and compete in the Paralympic Games in Sochi 2014 & Pyeongchang in 2018. He has since retired from professional competition, but we caught up with him to hear his story and talk about what his future looks like outside of professional sport.
