East Crunchy

East coast pow is not actually always pow. It’s more like crunchy ice. Snowmaking machines add to whatever natural stuff comes down and because the weather is all over the place, sometimes it’s too cold and sometimes not cold enough. Or worse, slushy ice freezes into blocks of ice and you’re just scraping everything all the way down. But it’s our snow and if you ride it, you’ll ride it well. And when you fall, you’ll harden your sh_t so that nothing ever hurts you. (Helmets and joint protection suggested, though). If you’ve never been on east coast snow, please watch this clip as an invitation to come out and join the fun.

P.S. I originally created 3 videos for this season. It was my first time getting good footy and editing (on that original GoPro editor. Word). But it turns out, I had a TON of ridiculous footy that I never used, so I went back and and decided it’s time to let it out. And after going through it all, I’m a bit surprised I didn’t die during my 2014-2015 snow season. I took a beating. This was my 3rd season riding and my 2nd as a tour bus leader, so I was feeling a bit risky and tried pretty much everything. Enjoy watching me break my a__ for this activity!
