7 Hour Roast Beef On The Firebox Camping Stove! Best Camp Food Ever!

7 Hour Prime Rib Roast On The Firebox Camping Stove For French Dip Sandwiches! In the wilderness! I used our new Ultra Cook Kit along with the Firebox Stove to roast this beef to perfection!

The concept is to keep the beef just hot enough to break down connective tissues (All the chewy stuff) The longer you maintain that temperature, the more broken down those connective tissues become. Quite often that’s how you’ll see if your roast is done, by trying to pull it apart with a fork. The longer it goes the easier it shreds. A rare or medium rare steak gets its moisture from water content that hasn’t been vaporized in the cooking process. Slow cooking a Roast has a moist, tender texture because of fat content. It’s all about breaking down tissues and rendering fat.
We had a great time out in the wilderness and stayed long enough to really let go of the day to day stress, we soaked in the wilderness and each other. A great success in bringing the family closer together!

The classic original Firebox Stove and the ultralight backpacking Nano stove both run on gathered fuel. Provides a true to camping campfire ambience while cooking up your favorite camping meals over a wood flame!

Food always tastes better when it’s cooked over a campfire and the Firebox stove makes that quick easy and No Trace!
The Firebox Stove folds flat making it easy to stow away for emergencies perfect for 72-hour kits, bug out bags or vehicle emergency kits.
