New Summit Scenes for YEWWW

To help make 22/23 that much sweeter, the Ikon Pass has turned up the fun with five new thrilling destinations.

STEEP AND DELICIOUS IN CHAMONIX MONT–BLANC VALLEY, FRANCE

Claiming its spot under the highest mountain in western Europe, Chamonix is a beloved bucket-list destination that has always written its own introduction. Big-mountain features—the stunning backdrop of Mont Blanc stands at a staggering 15,777 feet high—blend with charming valley villages stuffed with French charm, food, and fun. With the addition of Chamonix, Ikon Pass holders can now enjoy up to 28 days across four European icons.

SUN-DRENCHED IN SUN VALLEY, IDAHO

An Idaho treasure steeped in sunshine, ski lore, and legend, Sun Valley was initially made famous by Hollywood’s elite. Today, this premier year-round destination draws visitors from around the world. The second Idaho locale added to Ikon Pass, Sun Valley is nestled among the mountains and ranchlands of south-central Idaho, surrounded by nearly a million acres of alpine beauty.

LOTTE ARIA RESORT, JAPAN

One of the most recent destinations to be announced on the Ikon Pass, this perfectly positioned destination in the foothills of Ookenashi Mountain – only a short proximity from Tokyo – boasts one of the highest snowfalls in all of Japan. We’re talking over 800” annually. So, strap in and get ready for goggle deep powder plunges that ring loud with bucket list bravado. Featuring all the light, dry snow that Japan is known for, Lotte Arai is primed for those that like it deep, and almost 80 percent of its terrain is comprised of off-piste powder pillows. And when the sun begins to drop, it’s time to lift a glass of premium Japanese Sake. With a proper toast to today’s international adventure, settle in and get ready for all the turns that tomorrow will bring.

AMONG THE POWDER PILLOWS IN SNOWBASIN, UTAH

The sixth Utah addition to Ikon Pass, Snowbasin Resort has long been renowned as one of the most accessible world-class ski resorts in North America. Just 45 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport, this globally beloved mountain is regularly top-rated in accessibility, service, food, lifts, and grooming. Throughout these elevated offerings, families and adventure seekers can experience 3,000 skiable acres with a wide variety of beginner, intermediate, and advanced terrain. Consistently recognized as one of the best family resorts in North America, Snowbasin is one of the oldest continuously operating ski resorts in the nation.

PANORAMA, BRITISH COLUMBIA

Panorama is another fresh addition to the Ikon Pass destination lineup. A perfect international experience, panorama has long secured a place as pure Canada legend. Featuring one of North America’s Top 10 verticals, a climate built out of deep fun, and an après scene that never quits, British Columbia’s best crew claims another must-visit in the landscape of Canada’s sweet spot. For three must have memories, start with a tour the 1000 Peaks trail. This incredible ridge-top run lives up to its name with soaring peaks in all directions, a massive vertical drop, and regularly groomed snow. Then, move on to the sweetspots found from the top of the Summit Quad, a former heliskiing area that now requires no hiking while delivering all the goods of Taynton Bowl ridge. And when that end of day hunger hits, tuck into the Summit Hut, the only place in the world (UM, PRO TIP) that offers a cheese and chocolate fondue experience where you fly up and back down by helicopter after the ski area is closed for the day.
