My Wild Camping Kit – Load out – A beginners guide

As I couldn’t get out on Dartmoor this weekend, I thought I would take the chance to show you my wild camping kit.

The biggest mistake I made when starting out was to take far too much kit, and as a result this just added extra weight that slowed me down and reduced the distance I could hike to the best spots.

You need less than you think, and hopefully this will help some of you with choosing the right kit to take out.
