If you’re new to dial-style adjustable dumbbells, you might feel a little intimidated by the numbers on the outside of the plates. But clear instructions help you get up and running in no time.
The handle or the MuscleSquad 5kg – 32.5kg Adjustable Dumbbell Set is soft and textured for a secure yet comfortable grip. The gripping mechanism works smoothly and securely, too.

We experienced no clinking or movements with these weights. Throughout the entire resistance range, the plates stayed in position, giving confidence to try different exercises.
The kit is surprisingly compact with a small footprint. When in the tray, the set measures 210mm (H) x 420mm (W) x 200mm (D) so it’s ideal for storing in a bedroom or small gym.
It may seem expensive, particularly when compared to its smaller stablemate the MuscleSquad 2.5kg – 12.5kg Adjustable Dumbbell Set, but when you consider this set effectively gives you 12 dumbbells in one, and covers almost three times the resistance range, it starts to look much better value for money.
