Made from a non-slip vinyl, the ball looks the business and its robust feel inspires confidence. Its thick walls make it an excellent option for everyday use. Don’t expect the grip to quiet as good as some of the other exercise balls on test though.

Its resilience may make the TRX Stability Ball perfect for strength-based workouts but despite its non-slip material there’s insufficient grip to feel confident doing mobility, stretching or more dynamic exercises.
You’ll need your own pump to inflate the Stability Ball, and you don’t get a spare valve either, but once pumped up its firmness is faultless and the ball feels extra supportive.
