Fast on the heels of the 2023-’24 Epic Pass hitting the streets, Ikon Pass announced its new pricing, access, and a gaggle of new perks for next ski season. Similar to its competitor, there’s no bombshells, just a fairly steep price increase—$110 on the full pass and $60 on the base—new access for Taos Ski Valley, and some partnerships that might help you recoup some of the extra dough you’re about to part with. The pass goes on sale on March 16.

The biggest news is that Taos is moving off of the Ikon Base and will only be available on the full Ikon Pass and the Ikon Base Plus. The resort will also no longer be requiring reservations next season. On the other hand, Deer Valley will start requiring reservations.

For a quick overview on prices, the full pass is going from $1,049 ($949 with renewal discount for returning pass holders), to $1,159 ($1,059 with discount) and the Base Pass to $829 ($779 renewal) from last year’s $769. Alterra is padding the increase with some new partnerships next season, including discounts from The North Face and Smith. Also included in next year’s pass is a free Outside+ membership, where you can read content from SKI and partners titles such as Outside, Backpacker, Climbing, and Yoga Journal, plus get discounted tickets to the annual Warren Miller film, access to Gaia and Trailforks GPS mapping, and more. (Full disclosure: Outside Interactive, parent company of Outside+, also owns SKI.)

Good news for new pass holders who want to take advantage of what’s sure to be an incredible spring season: Spring access is back, with skiing and riding at six resorts starting on March 16, two more on April 3, and another five on April 10.
