The T/r trail racing shoe features a laceless design, a knit cuff that functions as a built-in gaiter, and more.
Nothing sucks more than stopping in the middle of a race to fix some errant laces. The solution? Go laceless. That’s exactly what footwear designer Danny Dance and Naked Sports Innovations have done with the T/r trail racing shoe.
In addition to the laceless technology, the T/r features a proprietary sole design developed in conjunction with Vibram. Other noteworthy features include a knit cuff that keeps out debris, a curved carbon forefoot plate, Achilles bolsters, and a bonded (not sewn) TPU upper.
“Our design DNA is based on removing everything that does not enhance performance and comfort,” said Lindsay Peterson Dakota, co-founder and president of Naked Sports Innovations. “And the T/r delivers.”
The T/r performs best in dry, technical terrain and provides medium cushioning. It has a close-fitting heel and a medium-wide toebox.
