Not so with Rossignol’s all-new Hi-Speed Elite 130 Carbon LV and Pure Elite 120 LV. Using data-driven, generative design methods, Rossignol took the guesswork out of balancing high performance with all-day comfort. The Hi-Speed and Pure are designed to bring race-inspired control to everyday on-piste endeavors for the most demanding skiers.
Rossignol started by minimizing the shell wall thickness to reach optimal boot weight. To maintain power transmission, precision, and support, Rossignol used Dual Core technology to reinforce the polyurethane shell with carbon in targeted areas on the Hi-Speed Elite 130 Carbon—underfoot and along the spine where power is transferred from your feet and legs to your skis. An asymmetrical Dual Core cuff allows for softer plastics in the areas that require more give.
On the women’s specific Pure Elite 120 LV, a shorter, tulip-shaped upper cuff paired with double straps elevates the support, customization, and comfort around a woman’s lower leg. The thoughtfully designed upper cuff allows the calf to sit in a relaxed position, while the double straps are adjustable on the inside and outside of the boot for optimal pressure to support overall comfort and performance.
The result is the right combination of materials strategically deployed to create a low-volume, high-performance boot that skiers can feel comfortable in all day, even when they’re pushing themselves (and their gear) to the limit.
Customization
Because performance is never one-size-fits-all, Rossignol designed the Hi-Speed and Pure to be completely customizable, with seemingly endless configurations to create a fit that is uniquely your own. The highly customized fit means you’ll get all-day comfort without sacrificing performance or power.
Available in 98mm (LV), 100 (MV), and 102mm (HV) lasts, the Hi-Speed and Pure can truly accommodate any foot shape. Inside the boot, the new five-zone, preshaped thermoformable liners have targeted zones that allow for more adaptation where you need it in the foot and ankle—near the first and fifth metatarsals, naviculars, and ankle bones. These moldable areas are surrounded by more-structured zones so your customized fit remains intact as you put more wear and tear on your liners. On the outside, personalize your boots’ performance with easily adjustable flex, lean, canting, and catches to help you dial your stance and angle of attack.
Taking comfort one-step further, both Hi-Speed and Pure are available in specific “Heat” models that feature integrated Bluetooth Thermic heating systems for all day warmth that’s controllable from the convenience of your phone.
