On closer inspection it feels thick and durable, and at 2kg it’s not the lightest. So it’s a surprise that Decathlon only recommends it for use with weights up to 286lb (130kg) – though it’s been shown to withstand up to 716lb (325kg). So the ball can certainly cope with various weight-based exercises.
Decathlon Domyos Durable Swiss Ball features
The Decathlon Domyos Durable Swiss Ball comes in three sizes – 55, 65 and 76cm – and Decathlon provides a handy chart to help you choose the right size based on your height and weight. Though it doesn’t supply a pump, you do get a tape, two plugs and plug remover, as well as a poster with nine exercises to get you started.

The two colours (turquoise and pink) may not be to everyone’s liking, but if you can forgive that you’re getting an excellent-value gym ball without having to compromise on size. As the cheapest on test, it’s ideally priced for beginners, but it’s backed up by the longest guarantee too – a win-win as far as we’re concerned.

With quick inflation and deflation times, it’s a good travel option too – though it is one of the bulkier balls when deflated.
