I was SCARED of this happening someday.. (Saltwater Fishing)

This is the LAST thing you want to happen when fishing.. We head out to go saltwater kayak fishing at the old pier and the jetty. What kind of fish can we catch around this time of year?? I was hoping for a big keeper flounder or something like that.. I did not expect for this to happen..
