How to Season a Swag

If you’ve bought a new swag, then you probably already know that you’ve got to season it before you take it for a spin.

Seasoning is such an important step to prevent water from leaking in your swag. When manufactured, hundreds of tiny holes are made when the needle punctures the canvas. When you season the fabric, the water makes the holes in the fabric swell up, which prevents any leaks inside your swag.

In this video, our gear expert Ben put his hand up to show us how it’s done. It’s a relatively easy process that can be done with either a hose or a bucket of water and a cloth, so if you want to see how to season a swag, then hit play above.
