“Thunderbolts and lightning, very very frightening me”…

Since Saturday, weather forecasts and viral videos of car dealer cars floating away in flash floods had been scaring the pants outta people. 17 people signed up for this past Sunday’s trip. The night before, to keep everyone motivated, I even sent out a stat that surprised even me, that out of 150 #Outerthere trips, we got thunderstorms on only 3 of them (coincidentally all on the same trail in Harriman State Park ????). But despite that amazing stat, only 8 came out and got nuthin’ but blue skies and fresh tans.

The morale of this story is that, when @alberrios invites you to come out, and you really, really want to go, just come out, even if the weatherman, your friends, or your horoscope tells you otherwise. And just wait until you see the video ????????
