I got super lucky and scored a campsite reservation at one of Colorado’s most beautiful campgrounds just off the Peak to Peak Scenic Byway. Sitting at over 10,000 feet in elevation and nestled along the Continental Divide, Brainard Lake and the Pawnee Campground area are extremely picturesque of the Colorado Rockies. I decided to load up the bike and ride the Peak to Peak Highway up into the mountains for a night of solo motorcycle camping.
In the morning, we hike up to Lake Isabelle, and encounter a moose on the trail. This was definitely the highlight of my moto camping trip!
